You want snow? We got SNOW!
Commenter Bill Hayes wanted to see two feet of snow in our view from the baking table...well, here you go!
And when your done playing out in the cold, come on in for a cup of hot chocolate and some lavender shortbread...or maybe a gingerbread man, or an apricot thumbjam...there's so many it's hard to decide!

I have to say, I've only visited Homer and The Two Sisters once (but it was with my sister and our family name is Homer, but I've wanted to live there since I was a little girl. Reading your blog is a delight, but it makes me strangely homesick. Especially today as I read about the glorious snow and I'm living in a tropical paradise, which is lovely, I suppose, but there's no snow. :( Thanks for the pictures.
Thanks for visiting, J.B....come by anytime, perhaps we could trade some of your sun for some of our snow...t'would be perfect then!
That pic sort of reminded me of the time I spent in Banff, Alberta. Haven't quite been as far North as Alaska yet. Very envious of the snow. Winter is by far my favorite season, as the cold and snow makes warmth and delicious, warm food even better.
Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about !! Thanks !!! It is beautiful :~)

Matt, it's true, I love walking into the bakery after being out in the cold, it smells soo good and the fire is so warm!
Bill, glad I could accommodate you so early in the winter season! It hasn't all melted yet!
